ReviewsKTMtalk, Oct. 05: TrailMaster Fanny Pack Well, this pack is the best fanny pack I've ever had. ...The best part is the compression system straps on the outside, these allow you to cinch the bag up tight so that it does not move while riding. It is the most comfortable pack I have ever used as it does not bounce at all, even when pounding whoops in the desert. No other fanny pack that I know of has this feature. Dual Sport Adventures, Summer '05: Large Fender Bag, Number Plate Bag and Spare Tube Bag What I like about these fender bags is that they have built-in compression straps on the outside of the bag. Not only does that allow you to secure the contents inside, but it also lets you carry things like a jacket liner or a hand pump outside the bag (by tucking them under the compression straps). The number plate bag is one of the accessories that has impressed me most. The bag uses three straps on each side, each securing the load in a different way. So the bag is very secure and doesn't move an inch while riding. And it doesn't distort or interfere with the headlight unit at all. It's extremely easy to get into, and holds quite a bit of stuff. The Spare Tube Bag is a very secure bag that doesn't put undue weight on the fender itself. Best of all, it's a cinch to get on and off. This is where I'll pack a spare tube. KTMtalk, Sept '05: Tool Wrap The extra prockets to store tools are a great idea, but the best part about it by far is the buckle that you use to close it. No more tying strings into a bow etc. ...One click, and you are done! Chalk up another great product from DBG and CODan!! Adventure Rider, August 05: Fender Bag, Number Plate Bag and Spare Tube Front Fender Bag These things are great. The rear fender bag holds quite a bit and has external compression straps, which allows you to stuff an air pump or a jacket liner on top of the bag. Nice. I also have the number plate bag and the front fender bag. I only use these on longer rides, but they've done their duty well. Especially the number plate bag. It holds a lot of stuff and stays put -- even under hard riding. Adventure Rider, March 05: Number Plate Bag and KDX Fender Bag The number plate bag is very well designed, made to last, and was completely without tradeoff- easy to get at, held a ton, never moved, and not noticeable while riding. ...The KDX fenderpack is very well designed and executed. I guess the best way to sum up it's performance is to point out that not only did it carry all of my tools for 1700 miles, I also lashed my sandals and toolbelt to it once my back started giving me trouble. It never budged. ...These packs are made in the USA by a really nice guy named Dan, customer service was excellent, and the product outstanding. I give both items 5 full stars. KTMTalk, Sept. 04: Regular Ballistic Fender Bag I just got my fender bag and inner bag from him last night and got them on my bike. ...First Class Stuff! The bag is very well made of heavy ballistic fabric, has a padded bottom, long adjustable click straps, and very good installation instructions. It came with all the needed (first class) installation hardware. ...Thanks for a great bag Dan, I'd recommend your products to anyone (guess I just did)! Off-road.com, June '04: Front Spare Tube Bag Unlike many bags on the market this one uses no hooks that attach to the front fender, which results is much better chance the bag will still be around at the end of a nasty ride. ...Our initial ride turned out only to be around 70 miles but in that time we had no problems with the bag shifting or coming loose. KTMTalk, May '04: Scotts Damper Pad First let me note that the product is made of a VERY dense foam material that absorbs shock very well. It is designed to protect the damper and they make no strong claims about protecting the rider from the damper. I would rather have the pad in place when my legs, arms, etc., are flying over the bars, than no pad at all. For $18 this purchase is a no-brainer for me. DirtRider.Net, April '04: Scotts Damper Pad Functionality: The pad is a very simple design but one that is welcome by those of us who use Scott's dampers. At the price of $18 (shipping included) it is a great deal. The pad is capable of a lot of abuse and can be cut and modified if desired. Wrapping it up: If you have a Scott's damper this is a nice piece to get. It protects the damper well, fits well and can protect you if you ever go chin down into your damper. I really like the product and would not hesitate to buy one. Off-Road.Com, October '03: KDX Ballistic Fender Bag Well let me tell you - these bags are tough!...Overall this is an excellent quality bag that is very functional... KTMTalk, October. 03: Regular Ballistic Fender Bag I recently bought & installed the Regular model fender bag from Dirt Bike Gear. These bags are made by CODan here on KTMTalk, and have received many favorable recommendations here...The Regular bag is big enough to fit my KTM toolkit, a Cruz Outback'r multi-tool, and a few other spare tools ; parts (zip-ties, mini tire irons, spare nuts ; bolts, etc.). I also bought the inner bag, which makes it easy to remove your whole tool kit from the bike for overnight parking or working on somebody else's bike (which we, as KTM owners, know is usually the case!)A perfect five out of five stars for CODan and his fender bag! NYRiders, May '03: Regular Ballistic Fender Bag I opened the package and was blown away by how well this bag was put together. ... The bag fits everything I need. A few spare tools, duct tape, small rag, small zip bags, registration, my keys to the jeep, and the cell phone. I still have room for plenty more. DirtRider.Net, July '02: Medium Ballistic Fender Bag When I first saw it I was impressed with the quality material used (1050 ballistic nylon). I even took it to the garage and threw it over a truss and hung by my arms with it. It held my 220lbs without a problem. ... It is much sturdier than the MSR fanny pack I was using. Off-Road.Com, May '02: Medium Ballistic Fender Bag When I first received the Dirt-Bike-Gear.com bag, it looked much like every other fender bag I've seen. Though upon further inspection, the quality and functionality is what makes this a bag well worth eyeballing when considering such a purchase. Knowing what I know now, it's my only choice.
